DHL Express, a leader in international express shipping, has introduced its Small Business PartnerSHIP Program, aimed at supporting U.S. small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in their global market expansion efforts.
Greg Hewitt, CEO of DHL Express U.S., emphasised the company’s commitment to helping SMEs maximise their global potential. “DHL has facilitated thousands of SMEs in going global, from their first international market to their 100th,” he said. “Our new program offers centralised, easy access to specialised support, resources, and solutions.”
The program, free for SMEs, includes shipping discounts, the MyDHL+ shipping platform, and Global Trade Services (MyGTS) for international shipping guidance. It also features the GoGreen Plus program to reduce shipment carbon emissions, e-commerce guidance, mentorship, webinars, events, and support from Certified International Specialists. Additionally, SMEs can access exclusive insights and tips through DHL’s Discover site.
A recent DHL Express survey of over 1,000 U.S. SME customers highlighted the importance of international expansion, with 53% identifying it as their biggest opportunity in 2024. As SMEs look to diversify markets and reach new customers, DHL’s Small Business PartnerSHIP Program addresses this growing demand.
